Firefox目前做了版號19的更新，分別針對桌機版本加入原生PDF閱讀器功能，同時在Android平台版本也加入完整的繁體中文介面。

Mozilla稍早宣布釋出版號19的Firefox更新，主要針對包含Windows、Mac OS X與 Linux作業系統的桌機平台版本加入原生PDF閱讀器，讓Firefox可以像Chrome瀏覽器可直接開啟PDF文件，而不需要額外安裝Adobe所提供Pllug-in。

另一方面，除了擴大支援超過1500萬支以ARMv6處理器為基礎的手機，新版Firefox for Android也進一步支援完整的繁體中文介面，主要對應廣大的中文使用市場，此外也更容易使用個人客製化介面。
