谷歌撥六千萬基金 協助法媒體

（法新社巴黎1日電） 美國網路搜尋龍頭谷歌公司和法國新聞業者今天簽定協議，設立6000萬歐元基金來協助舊媒體適應數位時代。協議是為了解決谷歌與法國新聞網站的爭端。

法國新聞業者和谷歌公司（Google Inc.）執行長施密特（Eric Schmidt）簽定這項協議後，法國總統府在推特（Twitter）上說：「法國很自豪與谷歌達成這項協議，這是世界第一例。」

法國總統府說，谷歌將設立6000萬歐元（約8200萬美元）基金，協助法國媒體開發網路計畫。

施密特在自己谷歌的部落格上寫道：「健康的新聞業對谷歌及其夥伴很重要，也是自由社會不可或缺的。」（譯者：中央社郭中翰）1
