雖然在近期財報中透露將不再推出Symbian平台手機，不過Nokia再次公布新款採用S40系統的功能手機「Asha 310」，主要延續先前推出的Asha 308、309系列手機，將搭載簡單的Nokia預設功能，並且可使用雙SIM卡通訊系統，但無法支援3G連網服務。

Nokia宣布將推出新款功能手機，主要將在第一季內於亞洲、印度、巴西、中東與非洲等市場推出，未稅建議售價為美金102元。基本上就是延續先前推出的Asha 308、309系列手機，採用3吋、解析度為400*240抗刮螢幕，內建200萬畫素攝影鏡頭與128MB儲存空間，可對應外接記憶卡擴充至32GB，至於原廠將內建一張4GB記憶卡 (但巴西銷售版本僅提供2GB容量)。

通訊系統則對應雙SIM卡，但不具備3G通訊機能，僅能透過GPRS或Wi-Fi連接，操作介面採電容式觸控螢幕設計，另外內建Nokia Xpress瀏覽器、Nokia Maps導航服務，此外也支援透過YouTube觀賞影片，或者配合Nokia Store下載超過40款由EA提供的免費遊戲，此外手機也內建Facebook、Twitter，以及Yahoo!Mail等App。
